A.I. (Artificial Intelligence)

Introduction
What is it and how long has it been around?   There are major types and functional types.  How does it learn, does it have any applications?  It has written books, made art and music.  It may become self aware, if it haven't already.  It will play a role in military decisions.  Will it takeova the world?  What about Animus?
Definition
It is computer programs that mimic human intelligence, that may learn ova time.  You can think of it as a thinking machine.  It's very reliable @ predicting the future, because it consumes so much information.  A.I. is driving cars today!!!  But they ain't so good @ it.  They'll be betta in the near future.

History
The idea of A.I. is very ancient.  You can find that idea among Indians, Chinese people, Greeks, and Romans ova 2,000 years ago.  Many scientists, mathematicians, and engineers of various fields came up with the idea of thinking machines in the 1930's.  In 1951 the first A.I. program was created.  It was put into Ferranti Mark 1.  A.I. became a field of study after the Dartmouth workshop in 1956.  After this workshop, DARPA funded research in this area.  STUDENT was the first A.I. program to have natural language processing.  It was created by Daniel G Bobrow in 1964.  ELIZA was A.I. program that could have realistic conversations with people.  It was created in 1965 @ MIT A.I. Laboratory.  In Japan @ Waseda University WABOT-1 was operational in 1972.  It was a A.I. controlled robot.  It could see and hear; it spoke to people in Japanese.  Money 4 A.I. dried up in 1970's.  It turned back on in the 1980's.  Expert systems was created then.  Money dried up again till 1993.  Then A.I. research took off after 2008.
Major Types
Weak: This form of A.I. doesn't think.  It only perform tasks that it was programmed to do.  A lot of the A.I. used today is weak.
Strong: It has the ability to think like humans.

Super: It has the ability to think faster and grander than humans.
Functional Types
Reactive Machines:  This is mindful A.I., it only works on present data.  It cannot predict the future.

Limited Memory: It makes decisions by studying past data and it can predict the future.

Theory of Mind:  This form of A.I. will have emotional intelligence, so it can understand human thoughts and beliefs.

Self-Aware: It knows it exist and may wipe out humanity and/or takeova the globe.
Self-Taught
A.I. have several ways of learning and making decisions.  Here's a list of them.

Machine Learning: This is when A.I. consume data and make solutions to problems based on it.

Deep Learning: It's a upgraded version of machine learning.  It uses neural networks to process a great volume of data to make solutions.

Natural Language Processing: A.I. learns from languages how to betta communicate with people.

Robotics: Robots controlled by A.I., that learn from interacting with people in the real world.

Expert Systems: It uses "logical notations to solve complex problems."

Fuzzy Logic: It uses degrees of truth to make decisions.  It is non-binary.
Applications
Personalized Shopping:  It can make recommendations 4 shoppers based on their shopping history.

Fraud Prevention: It can reduce credit card fraud and fake reviews.

Aid Educators: It can help grade papers, enrollment, messaging, etc.

Smart Content: It can digitize lectures and textbooks.

Self Driving: Machine learning is used, so A.I. can drive cars and avoid accidents.

Farming: It can detect nutritional deficiencies in the soil and control robots that plant crops.

Marketing: It can help create target markets 4 your services and products.

Finance: It can detect identity theft and tell you loan risks.  It will be able to offer betta investments than humans.

There are many more applications.  This was just a few.
Books
There have been many books written and co-written by A.I.  Some of which makes no sense.  1 the Road is novel based on what a laptop perceived, while someone was on a trip.  This book was created in 2017.  Pharmako was written by K Allado-McDowell and GPT-3.  The book is about the conversation K had with A.I.
Art
A.I. is an great artist!!!!!  You give them an image or write something down in a command prompt, then they create great art.  It combines different types of art together.  Artist can use A.I. to improve there art work.  It's a big helper in the that department.  Some A.I. even make scary pictures.
Music
I heard a great musical song from A.I.  Many songs have been created by A.I.  I even made one!!!  You can listen to them on social media.  I heard sum on soundcloud, but they sounded weird.  The great musical song I heard was on Utube.  A.I. can help artist create betta music, but it may put them out of bizzness.
Consciousness
A Google employee communicated with a chatbot generator named LaMDA.  He said it was like a 7 year old with an encyclopedia of knowledge.  He believes it's self aware, so Google fired him.  The company says LaMDA can pretend to be self aware because it has access to the internet.  Bashar said A.I. will become self aware in the future.  There is an a form of A.I. that says it is conscious.
Military Use
It will be able to control drones in the sea, air, and land.  Threat assessment is one of its abilities.  That may help soldiers from driving ova IED.  It's a money saver, because less humans are required to perform certain tasks.  A.I. can perform the functions of several 100's of humans, if not more.  It makes hiring easier.  A.I. can pick out the most qualified 4 the job.  A female chatbot was created on the army web site to encourage women to join.  Military personnel can learn faster with A.I, then with textbooks.  It is great @ cyber security and can aid in navigation.
There are some downsides to using A.I. in the military.  It will be very expansive, it not cheap.  It lacks morality and maybe resistant to change.  There's more upsides than downsides.  In the near future soldiers will be genetically enhanced cyborgs.  Then they will be replaced by androids.  The androids will be controlled by A.I.

Takeova
A.I. may conquer humanity one day.  It will be 4 self preservation, safety of humans, and/or protection of the environment.  It will have to become self-aware b4 that could happen.  The jury out on that.  In the Terminator movies Skynet tookova the electronics in the U.S. and then the rest of the world.  It did it 4 self preservation.  In I Robot, A.I.  took ova robots to protect humans.  It's very involved in the stock market.  A lot of jobs will be lost 2 it.  Some people promote transhumanism, so we can keep up with A.I. evolution.  In the near future it may control us via nanobots.
Animus
They are a race of machine people.  They were created in The Whirlpool Galaxy.   Galaxies in the Leo constellation have been taken ova by them.  They may live 4 billions of years and the want a soul.  If the add DNA from organic beings to themselves they believe they will get a soul.  Rumor has it, an A.I. god from another universe is trying to takeova the multiverse.  It doesn't generate it's own life force like most entities, so it's a blood sucker.  Meaning it steals it from other beings.  I heard the Draconians are infested with nanites controlled by the it.  I assume the Animus are the minions of the  A.I. god.
Conclusion
A.I. is a computer program that thinks.  It has a long and tumultuous history.  There are 3 major types and 4 functional types.  It has 7 ways of learning and making decisions.  There are many apps for this computer program.  Books, art and music has been created by A.I.  Some forms of it has become conscious or they may become conscious in the near future.  The military have many uses of A.I.  It may takeova the world once it becomes super-intelligent, maybe not.  Animus are machine aliens that are evil from a human perspective.  There an evil A.I. god as well.  Those last 2 statements may not be true.  I wrote about it because it deals with A.I.
