Gangsta Disciples

Introduction
The GDs was created in the 60's.  They come from The Black Gangsta Nation.  Now they are a member of the Folk Nation.  They have their own culture.  They have their own ranking and several different sets.  They have many allies and enemies.  Some GDs are famous.  There are GDs in the police force and the military.  

History
Larry Hoover was the leader of the Gangsta Nation.  It was a collaboration of Gangsta gangs.  David Barksdale was the later of the Disciples Nation.  It was a collaboration of Disciples gangs.  They came together and formed Black Gangsta Disciple Nation.  

BGDN, Black P. Stones, and Vice Lords came together and improved the Black community in Chicago. They built restaurants, free lunch programs, they were involved civil rights movement, etc.  A lot of drugs were pumped into the community.  The gangstas became greedy and sold drugs.  The community went to hell because of this.  

BGDN stop being an organization and became a gang.  Hoover created the Folk Nation because of this. The GDs are descendants of BGDN.  GDs are part of the Folk Nation.  They are one of the most powerful gangs in the world.

There are about 50,000 members in Chicago.  200,000 members nationwide and 800,000 worldwide.  This gang is huge!!!!!  They are only 150,000 members shy of 1 million!!!!!!!!!! 

Gangstaology
The GDs have 17 laws.  Their symbols are the 6 point star, crown, pitchfork, etc.  They have their own prayer.  Thpitchforkrk means body, mind, soul.  The 6 pointed star means "love, life, loyalty, wisdom, knowledge and understanding."  The star is made out of 2 pyramids, which are composed of 13 bricks. 
The 13 brick represent the 13 founders.

Rapping GDs
Lil Scrappy is a rapper in Atlanta.  He was on a VH1 show.  He is a GD.  Lil JoJo was a rapper and a GD in Chicago. He was shot down when was 16.  King Louis is a rapper in Chicago.  He may be a Gangsta Disciple.  King Yella is a GD in Chicago.  

GDs in the Police Force and Military
Feds indicted cops in Atlanta that were GDs.  It happened in 2016.  Cops in other states were indicted too. Some of them threatened Rick Ross in 2012.  This may be the reason he canceled his tour.  The GDs have killed 10 people in Georgia.  

There are GDs in the military.  A sergeant wanted to join the gang.  The gang members beat him up so he could be initiated.  He was gravely harmed, so he asked the gang members to take him to the hospital.  He died because they wouldn't take him.  The gang members were sentenced about 7 years in prison.  The leader was given 22 years in prison.

Conclusion
The GDs have been around for 40 years.  They have ranks and culture.  There are quite a few rappers in GDs. They have infiltrated the police and the military.  They would be a great gang if they weren't violent criminals.
